We had a small turkey because there was only the 3 of us and now I regret it, not enough leftovers, they disappeared in a couple of days. I've never heard of adding the eggs to the potatoes mixture, I'll have to try that.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10854012098533662222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21570992.post-22647988392611525142008-10-17T05:14:00.000-07:002008-10-17T05:14:00.000-07:00Sadly, we didn't have a turkey this year. We, French Canadiens, didn't celebrate the holiday. Don't ask me what we did cuz I don't remember! It was too long ago. lol It wasn't until I dated an English Canadian that I learned of the holiday! Never dated a French Canadian! ;o) It would seem that I was destined to move to the dark side! lol Speaking of dark side, Ginger Patches blogged about a french magazine. I really out to get it, I'm losing/perdu mon francais! lol Gosh, I was going to write you an e-mail this morning, I guess this is it! lol Have a great weekend! In our family, the leftovers get divided amongst the guests, so for me, there isn't the agony of how to use up all those leftovers. In a way, I envy those who do.Shelina (formerly known as Shasta)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03290945204269323129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21570992.post-77607956255900709162008-10-14T22:15:00.000-07:002008-10-14T22:15:00.000-07:00Hi Pam,The turkey surprise looks delicious- we hav...Hi Pam,
The turkey surprise looks delicious- we have made turkey lasagna and such but I have never added the stuffing into the turkey casserole. The potato bake dish we made for Thanksgiving, is like the topping you made except it has cream cheese whipped into the potatoes.
We had ham instead of turkey- the ones that were left were quite costly so we opted for ham. I am sorry because I quite like turkey but I am in the minority in my house.
Our dog Dusty would have been waiting for the vegetables or fruit never mind the turkey.
As for the election- there were no surprises here in Alberta....unfortunately..
Hugs,
Annaquiltmom annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01976120921532056369noreply@blogger.com
