The finished bag

I thought I should post a picture of the bag for Andrea's tutorital. I think it turned out well. I have this tendency to make bags - and never use them. I love bags though - and I need to start using them. My husband thinks I'm nuts everytime I make a new bag.

The weather has finally gotten nice here so I haven't been inside as much quilting.

All the new doors and windows are now installed. There was a bit of an issue at when the arrived to install them a week ago - they only had the doors and had no idea where the windows were -- ???? Anyway they found the windows and put them in yesterday.

I just have to hand sew the binding down on my table centre - so once that is finished and on the table I will take some pictures.

  4. That's a great bag. I don't use bags much either - well I do, but I have bunches I got at trade shows, etc., so I have more than I need, so I am avoiding getting sucked into the bag making thing. I might make some small very simple ones to give as gifts though.

  10. Fantastic bag! I doubt you're alone in loving bags/making a lot, and not using them all. I know I have a dozen or more I don't use but love to bits. Beautiful!

  12. The bag looks great Pam, I especially like how the handles look long enough to properly go over the shoulder. Funny how they can lose big things like a house full of windows, isn't it?

  13. FABULOUS bag! I have that same tendency... A pile of pretty, handmade bags that never get used might maybe exist in my house...
