This is what I have been doing for the past 12 days

I have been sick and laying on the couch feeling miserable. I am not a good patient and I am really, really cranky. I almost feel better and then I start to cough again. I actually tried to work one day last weekend - that was a mistake.

I did manage to sit upright a few hours to finish the binding on the baby quilt. I wanted to have it finished to send for the baby by the end of March.

Here is poor Jenny. Completely annoyed that she has been stuck at home for two weeks with no interesting walks to be had. Although the neighbour has felt sorry for her and taken her out for a couple of nice walks.

Jenny spends most of the day just sitting by the couch or bed wondering if life will ever get better than this -- much like me!

  2. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling good. Hope you are better real soon! Seems there is stuff going around all over the northern hemisphere. DS has had it on the east coast, DH had it here in the midwest....you are up there in the northwest.

    That's a cute baby quilt!

  8. Confined to the couch, strange , when we would like rest and a lie down doing nothing the opportunity never arises. The baby quilt is a brightener and I would say you are on the road to recovery.

  11. We could have been twins the way you were lying on the sofa. I was in my lounge chair, but I was wrapped in my favorite, colorful quilt too. Hope you are better soon. I am off to the doctor's this AM.
Hope we both have a better week!

  14. Oh dear - hope you feel better Pam. Winter in the hospital, you can't help but catch something, and then of course you are all working too hard as there is so much sick leave. It's no wonder you get run down. Look after yourself.

  18. Hey there girlfriend! Sure is crumby that you've been sick for such a long time. Jenny looks to be a very understanding soul and how wonderful that your kind neighbor has taken her out for a short spin. I get the same look from Lucy - you can hear the sighs blooming in her head, lol. The baby quilt is CUTE! Feel better and let me know about the Anise Oil. Kim
